Physical therapy students who travel to Dublin, Ireland, are likely to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. That is if the rainbow leads them to The University of Dublin, Trinity College, where they can gain a four-year Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Physical Therapy.

This year a select group of American applicants will enter the program as sophomores during the 1995 fall term, integrate into the class and complete their studies in three academic years.

As it enters its fifth century as a institution of higher learning, Trinity College offers students studying to become physical therapists the chance to grow academically, socially and personally. General prerequisite courses include general biology, anatomy, physiology, general chemistry, general physics, math, psychology, and english courses.

A major emphasis of the curriculum is placed on clinical internships with placements designed to enable the student to integrate scientific and theoretical knowledge with physical therapy skills in the therapeutic management of patients.
